Automatic Squelch (ASQ) with dedicated control and microphone-mounted ASQ switch.

LED backlighting with VFD display.
MICROPHONE
8-pin microphone connection with channel UP/DOWN and ASQ controls; external 13.8 V B+ terminal.
POWER & PROTECTION
DC 13.8 V operation with 4 W standard AM/FM transmitter output.
